IDC`s Online Culture and Art Camp

With the support of the Ministry of Youth and Sports (2020-I), we aim to contribute to the cultural development and interaction of youth in Turkey by providing online quality trainings for free with 10 different workshops, in 5 different programs: Psychology, Philosophy, Sociology, Science and Politics.

A ten-week online course on geometric pattern design offered by the Istanbul Design Center School of Geometric Patterns in Islamic Arts

Persian Decagonal Geometric Pattern Design

Within the School of the Geometric Patterns in Islamic Art with Prof. Miroslaw Majewski, the 15 week online program will cover the `Persian Decagonal Geometric Pattern Design`.

Complex Geometric Patterns in Islamic Art

This online course consists of nine weeks course, covers the complex fourfold, fivefold and six fold patterns. The nine weeks will be divided into three sessions for fourfold complex patterns, three sessions for fivefold complex patterns and three sessions for six fold complex patterns.

Geometric Patterns in Islamic Art (foundational-level)

This online course consists of eight weeks Foundation course plus one introduction lecture, covers fourfold and six fold patterns. The workshop will focus on the fundamental concepts of proportion and relations between different patterns.
