International Symposium on Cinema and Religion
The symposium was organized with the aim to create an academic knowledge on the subject of "Cinema and Religion" and to encourage academicians and interested parties in our country to produce ideas on this subject, which is one of the interdisciplinary fields that attract interest throughout the world (especially in the US, UK and Australia).
The symposium was held between 21-24 May, 2015 in Istanbul with the collaboration of the Ensar Foundation’s Values Education Center, Theology Faculty of Marmara University and the University of Nebraska Omaha.
The event was open to the presentations on theoretical evaluations, field research and on case studies relevant to the subject.

• Is the Islamization of the cinema possible?

• Presentation of the cinema religion

• To exemplify euphemism issues in the films
